I will dominate 'serious combatant' Paul - Anthony Joshua
The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be shown live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to publicize next month's boxing match.
Former two-time unified boxing king Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I'm going to injure his face and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to really want to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of those words, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - typically known for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead attacked ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, criticized UK opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Paul's Background
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in 2023.

Nevertheless, the novice is still one of the sport's largest commercial attractions, regularly earning massive financial rewards.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old forecast a stoppage in round four or five and claimed he would stop the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently being planned for 2026.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.
